DJH Safety Consulting has been operating since 2008. Based in Victoria and with a second office in Perth, Western Australia, DJH operates across Australia. Initially providing on-site safety consulting to the construction and mining industries, DJH now also provides recruitment, contractor and health and safety compliance services.

David’s career in health and safety began over 25 years ago. Working extensively in the mining, civil construction and rail industries, David has been involved in safety projects all over Australia, Taiwan and India. Working in some of the harshest and most difficult environments, David has had great success in improving health and safety on challenging projects such as the Dampier Fuel Wharf, WA, Taiwan High Speed Rail, Taiwan.
David’s area of expertise includes planning for project safety, critical risk assessments, procedure development, audits, inspections, investigations, training, leadership and mentoring. With a high level of technical understanding in mining, construction and rail operations, David can easily provide practical and workable solutions to even the most complex of safety problems.

Jacqui has been a part of DJH Safety Consulting since 2008. Over the past 10 years Jacqui has gained a wealth of international experience across design, education, training and occupational health and safety sectors. A member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and currently undertaking an MBA from Heriot-Watt University (EBS), Edinburgh, Jacqui is focused on ensuring our clients are provided with professional and reliable services.

OHS Operations Manager
Matt brings over 20 years of business management, sales, marketing, communications and training experience to DJH Safety Consulting. His focus and studies over the last 8 years has been on holistic health and natural sciences, treating many patients with occupational injuries. Matt’s knowledge of anatomy, physiology and fascial kintetics provides him with a great understanding of the anthropometric factors in your workplace ergonomics and the musculoskeletal problems that can result from poorly designed workplaces. Matt is a qualified OHS Auditor, and completing his Advanced Diploma in OHS. He is also a proficient trainer, having delivered hundreds of presentations, workshops and training sessions over the years.
